Tuned Up

Dear Tim,

I am sincerely sorry. A little back-story: My wife and I saw you back in 1997 or so, at a little club in Augusta, GA, across from the Augusta National. After your show, I got a Tuned Up tape, and got you to autograph it. Being last in the autograph line, I had the opportunity to have the most delightful conversation with you. We talked for a good 10-15 minutes and said our good-byes. When I got home, I realized that the $10 I was supposed to give you for the tape, I still had in my pocket! I have been meaning to write you and find out where to send the money for the tape, but it's a sorry world, and I put it off.

If you would let me know where to send it, I would like to finally pay for the tape, plus interest.

Re: Tuned Up

There's a statute of limitations on cassette tapes. Give that ten to a waitress! Love Tim Wilson

Re: Tuned Up (Follow-up)

Finally found a waitress to give that tip to. My only requirement: that she knew who you were. Wouldn't you know it, it was a Waffle House waitress! She says, "yeah, I know who Tim Wilson is!" And proceeds to sing part of I Married A Woman Who Talks Like Jerry Reed. So, I threw some groceries down my neck and left her the best tip of her day.

Personally, my favorite is your Uncle B.S. shtick. Keep em coming!
